Gaurav Singh
Managing Partner
Gaurav is the founder and Managing Partner of NICL. He is responsible for the firm’s corporate and investment strategy, the onboarding of NICL’s development partners and oversees capital raising and operational management of NICL’s portfolio companies.

He has vast experience in financing energy projects across Europe, having successfully arranged over EUR 4 billion of funding, most of which has been in his capacity as a principal.
He started his career at EY and moved through investment management at Octopus Investments and investment banking at the UK Green Investment Bank and NIBC Bank N.V. Gaurav has an extensive international network with access to the very top of asset management firms, investment banks and institutional investors.
Gaurav is extremely discipline, working out seven days a week and maintaining a strict diet, whilst managing numerous ventures and dedicating quality time to his family. He has passed level 1 of the CFA programme and holds a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, from Imperial College London.
Jan Ondrich
Partner
Jan is a Partner of NICL. He leads corporate acquisition opportunities and oversees NICL’s activities in the CEE region. Jan has extensive experience in energy projects internationally, with a comprehensive understanding of markets trends, investment strategies and trading options.

Jan led the investment activities of Henry Sun S.R.O., an investment vehicle funded by United Hydrogen and Hydrogen 2 SICAV fund, focused on renewable power projects.
Earlier in his career Jan advised institutional investors on infrastructure investments and also led projects for several major utilities.
Jan sits on the board of Act for Others, a charity supporting handicapped children in the Czech Republic. He has held supervisory board positions with OTE and Pražská Energetika Holding.
Jan plays competitive league basketball in the Czech Republic. He holds a MSc in European Policy and Governance from the London School of Economics. He is a Czech national fluent in verbal and written English, and has working knowledge of French and German.
Jonathan Jepson
Partner
Jon is a Partner of NICL. He primarily focuses on distributed energy as well as digital assets, with a profound knowledge of blockchain and tokenisation. A serial entrepreneur with over 30 years’ experience, he served as a founding director of the National Educational System for Training and Merchant Investors Citibank.

He founded Power Capital and co-founded Ethical Power, both of which develop and construct renewable energy power plants. He has an in-depth understanding of solar photovoltaic, STOR, bioenergy and combined heat and power processes.
Jon is passionate about health and fitness. He has achieved the rank of 7th dan “Kyoshi” which translates to the “teacher of teachers” and founded JJBBA martial arts, which he grew to 121 sites running bespoke personal development programmes based on his book “The Black Belt Code”.
Jon holds a Post Graduate Doctorate in Western Clinical Acupuncture & Osteopathy trained. He is a fellow of the society at Salford University FSMA and holds a corporate coaching qualification.
Harris Bokhari
Partner
Harris is an Affiliate Partner of NICL and the CEO of our portfolio company Carbonless. He brings a wealth of experience in commercialising smart energy technologies and advancing sustainable practices across industries. Harris spun one of his first companies into the Energy Systems Research Unit (ESRU) at the University of Strathclyde, where we developed smart sensors and energy management systems.

His other ventures include logistics and recruitment in maritime energy supply chains, developing wireless smart sensors, and management systems for energy aggregation and demand response in commercial real estate and food & drink production – initiatives that reflect his deep commitment to innovation, impact, and environmental entrepreneurship.
Harris is enthusiastic about fitness and is a keen Thai boxer. He has a Masters’ Degree (MSc) in Environmental Entrepreneurship from the Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering, University of Strathclyde.
