Jan Ondrich

Jan leads NICL's investment strategy and spearheads NICL’s solar PV and storage project developments in the CEE region. He is an energy industry expert and advises senior management of institutional investors on their corporate strategies, energy policy, regulation and financing. Jan is particularly well-versed in wastewater infrastructure, CHP, energy efficiency and renewable power generation.

Jan is a recognised figure in the CEE energy sector and has been quoted by the Financial Times, Bloomberg and Platts amongst others. He represents the City of Prague on a supervisory board of the municipal utility PRE Holding a.s., which has EUR 230M of assets under management.

Outside of work, Jan plays league basketball in his home city of Prague. He is fluent in Czech and German, and holds a Masters’ degree in Politics and Governance from the London School of Economics.
